With the release of his single My Beautiful Girl, Matty has arrived! This is the first release from his upcoming album Moonbeam Child. He wrote all the songs for the record, and with his team has produced an album that delivers a blend of 60s and modern pop thatll have you singing along in no time.

Singing and dancing from a young age, this gifted Sydney-sider has performed around the country in shows and festivals and for television. But it wasnt until mid high school that he found his passion for song writing. Since then hes been honing his skills writing pop songs and rock songs and now hes turned to writing 60s style tunes.

I was given the chance to have a song play on a 60s radio show. Id already written a song that fit the bill, recorded it and liked it so much I decided to do a whole album! The songs are mostly upbeat, feel good tunes that you just wanna dance to. Weve kept that 60s foundation and given it a modern edge. I wanted to capture that same great energy of older recordings like The Beatles and The Hollies records where you can just feel theyre having fun!

Its been a long process to get the project up and running. Being an independent artist is great, but its also a lot of hard work. I have a fantastic team whove helped me put together an album Im extremely proud of. Producing the album were Branko Pezo and Clive Lendich. Their productions have put together some of the best musicians in the country. And the end result: a feel good record that brings the best of the 60s and the now.

Matty doesnt disappoint with Moonbeam Child. Its an album of yesterday for today!
